About ThinkForChange

Welcome to ThinkForChange. ThinkForChange exists to help people improve their lives through the power of choice. As we examine the trends, feelings, and simply obvious facts from life around us, we can start to see that society is not necessarily headed in the right direction. We can change this, if we feel it is necessary. Here, I will discuss the various reasons I feel it is necessary. Hopefully, you will agree - but the point isn't necessarily for you to agree with everything I have to say. The point is to get you thinking about it (because then, you'll agree anyways ha!). Not all examples apply to all people, but I am very committed to the idea that there are certain commonalities that are widely applicable across personalities, cultures, even species and families of life. We can learn from everything around us. This is what I have done, and what I will continue to do for the rest of my life. Let us journey on together.

There are a few fundamental beliefs that this site advocates:
  1. The power of self-examination and, therefore, continuous self-improvement
  2. The value of creativity, innovation, and [the execution of] ideas
  3. The necessity of mutual respect in all aspects of life
From these values, the journey of self-improvement begins - and make no mistake, each human being has the ability to pursue this path. The difference is whether they actively decide to, or not. I hope you are successful in finding peace and clarity in your life.

I refuse to make this a blog about my personal life. I find such a behavior to be completely self-serving, which goes against everything this site stands for. While I may use stories to illustrate a point, the core purpose of this blog is to inspire people to think themselves. To inspire people not to necessarily copy my conclusions and methodologies (but feel free to do so if they speak to you), but rather to take an active role in developing their own viewpoint in the future.

One of the greatest challenges of this site will be writing it in a way that appeals the largest number of potential users. Come into this site with an open mind. If you are one of those ultra-conservative types whose answer to every philosophical question is "You have to have faith," then I invite you to leave this page right now, as there is nothing here for you. This site is about self-examination and self-advancement. Blind faith will not grant you these things. But realization of internal energy will.

Reverse Definition:
Sometimes, I find it useful to think in terms of not only what defines a concept, but also, what does not define it.
  1. This is not a self-focused blog in any way shape or form. I will do my very best to refrain from logging on and writing about how my day was and how pissed off I am at the policeman that pulled me over (unless it was totally unfair/uncalled for - and even then, I probably will not.)
  2. This is not a develop as I go along type of blog: I have already developed these theories and I am putting them out into the public eye. As such, it is one of my greatest challenges to present this information logically and progressively, but I will try. I would much rather have a good conversation, though.
  3. This is not a forum for discourse or discussion or dissent on my theories.
    1. In my personal experience, the world is such that even if I arduously proved every single theory by extensive logic, there would always be some professor or some scientist out there who'd disagree.
